A club with a mission.

Waco Soccer Club was established in 2018 as F.C. Waco, starting as a grassroots volunteer-based organization. Our focus was to get involved in the lower league soccer scene by participating in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL). In our first season, we placed third with a 7-6-1 record, followed by a successful second season where we achieved second place with an 11-2-1 record. During our third season in the UPSL, we faced more competition, but still managed to place third with a 3-5-2 record.

In 2019, we expanded our operations by launching a development academy that quickly grew to include over 11 boys and girls teams across all age groups. The academy made a strong impact in North Texas State Soccer Association competitions, showcasing our commitment to youth development. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we withdrew from the 2020 UPSL season to prioritize resources for our youth programs.

In response to the pandemic, we used the opportunity to restructure and rebrand as Waco Soccer Club, updating our identity to reflect our commitment to building a modern and professional soccer club. Our aim is to establish the best culture for soccer in all of Central Texas and develop a rich history as we grow the brand to its full potential.

Who We Are

  • Every decision we make starts with the player. We believe the path from local talent to the next level runs through clubs that are intentional about development, not just results. At Waco SC, we provide a competitive environment where players can grow, be seen, and take the next step in their soccer journey.

  • We believe soccer should be accessible, affordable, and rooted in the community it represents. Waco SC exists to give Central Texas a club to be proud of, one that reflects the character of this city, welcomes everyone through the gates, and builds something that lasts beyond any single season.

  • Waco SC was founded in 2018 as FC Waco, a grassroots club built by people who believed Central Texas deserved a team of its own. Through UPSL competition and a growing youth academy, we built our roots in this community. The 2027 season marks our full relaunch, a more intentional, better-resourced Waco SC ready to make a lasting mark on local soccer.
